Device 1: Underwater Robot
Device 2: Host computer
Device 1 and 2 are connected to an ASUS router via Ethernet.
1. We want to connect the robot wirelessly to this router. What Cisco products are suitable for our problem? The device will be inside a floatable buoy.
2. Does Cisco have any underwater solution?
We need:
Low power consumption <10W
Long range is better
Price is not important.
Other solutions we found: NETGEAR WNCE2001

2. Does Cisco have any underwater solution?
Wireless will NEVER work under water.

Just to add to Leo's comment, Cisco doesn't have an enterprise solution like that travel router from Netgear. If your looking at something that can be powered off a USB for example, then search for travel routers or USB powered Ethernet bridge.
