RV-120W and WAP200 repeater mode, help

I'm trying to setup the wap200 to repeat the wifi signal from the rv-120w signal.

On the router the wifi (SSID: stonesoup)has no encryption(intentional), access point isolation is off, SSID broadcast enabled, and is set to VLAN:50. I'm unsure of proper use of the wds feature for my use case.

On the wap200 has it's ip configured to match the stonesoup Network scheme with no conflicts. I can see the stonesoup bssid when doing the site survey when trying to setup the AP in repeater mode. I save the changes but receive no ip when connected via the wap200 bssid: stonesoupap

I have doubled checked firmware versions on both devices are up todate.

have you verified the repeater is setup on the same channel as the original AP??  I have a feeling there maybe something configuration wise wrong since a quick google revealed numerous people with the same issues.

Yes I have checked that both devices are on the same channel.
