RX & TX value are showing 0

Hi,

We have checked randomly on 20 - 30 WLC 's and their associated access points by logging into each controller.

Below is the mentioned path of controller:

Monitor > Access Points > Radios > 802.11x/y/z  >  AP Name>details

Even though clients are showing connected, mostly all the APs are displaying Rx and Tx value as 0.

As we are using Cisco prime infrastructure, the reports generated for APs are showing the same tx and rx value as 0 because prime is continuously fetching the data.

So we need to know why Rx and Tx is showing 0 & their approx values.

Regards,

Jaideep

Rx/Tx value for RSSI or data transfers?

What version is the WLC running on?

Just to add, the rx and tx doesn't increase unless you have a lot of devices on the ap trying to send traffic.  Typically the utilization is what I look at not really the rx/tx

thanks for reply scott

No problem. Maybe just test it on an AP and stream some HD video and upload/download large files just to see if the number moves.
