Hi Guys,
We have some standalone/autonomous cisco aircap AP(s) which were installed short distance.
Now the users face continuous connectivity issue as every few minutes the client devices keep switching between AP(s) which transmits strong signals.
Is there anyway to configure the AP(s) for seamless roaming.
We previously had the AP(s) from different brand which had a controller and could configure to roam the client devices seamlessly without losing the connectivity.
Can Cisco WLC help on this matter?
Thanks in advance.

First steps: get wifi survey to be done, and place the AP where required.
But keep more AP, not get the outcome as expected.
Client is the one who decides where to connect (which AP), not the strong signal next to the device.

- The WLC solution is certainly beneficial because it knows all AP's connected to it and can then optimize coverage with the TPC and DCA algorithms which run periodically (TPC = Transmit Power Control, DCA = Dynamic Channel Assignment) . For initial wireless deployment site survey is advised
