One of our offices is serviced by a single 1200 AP. It in the far areas of our office, we had seen the signal drop off. Does Cisco make some type of Signal booster or repeater?
Basically I dont want to buy another 1200 if it means they will get dropped and have to reconnect when going from SSID to SSID.

You'll need to either get additional APs, or perhaps try higher gain antennas.
The RF output to the antennas is a strong as regulations permit; from there you can get some additional gain from from the right antenna .... but, depending on the layout of your facility, more signal in one direction may mean less signal in another.
Only a good site survey will give you the "best" answer.
Either way (antenna or more APs), putting an amp ("booster") in the system would likely violate federal regulation.
Good Luck

Thank you for the information. Is there a way to have a seamless transition from one access point to another without signal drop?
