hello all
i have a question
in one of our client location we are unable to access the autonomous cisco 1602 ap(it is showing limited connectivity) this problem is only showing in the laptop which have windows 8.1 installed all other system are able to connect.
even the same system is connecting to a linksys ap without any problem.
kindly suggest a workaround for this.

There really shouldn't be any difference because of OS. What you need to do is make sure that device has an IP address (which it should since it's showing limited access) and see if they can ping the gateway and have local access to the LAN. Limited access means the device has an IP address but can't access the Internet. DNS can be an issue for example. The ap configuration is fine if other devices can connect to it. I run win 8.1 along with having a MacBook and other iOS devices and never had any issue. There was a fix earlier with lightweight in which you would have to use a windows 7 driver. Maybe upgrade the driver in the device or look at the code in the access point and upgrade that.

Hi Hasan,
This issue is actually arising cause of Microsoft trying to replace the manufacturer's drivers with its own. Due to which, no connectivity issues and limited wifi is seen.To fix it, revert the drivers to older version or Manfacturer's build.
