Steps of wireless anchoring in between two Cisco 2504

Dear All,

We are using 2 cisco wireless controller in 2 different places. Suppose Site-A & Site-B. Site-A is Main or HUB site so we consider or say Anchor WLC and Site-B is a major branch or regional office so we consider Foreign WLC. Both locations having guest wlan with different ip segments and users authentication method. Site-A guest wlan vlan id is 900 and Site-B guest wlan vlan id is 172, Site-A Guest wlan is more secure and having huge ip addressing subnet. So now we want same thing will work in Site-B, but we don't want to create new wlan in Site-B.

Can we extend Site-A Guest wlan on Site-B with same parameter through wireless anchoring.

I am not familiar with wi-fi controller, recently joined office. If i am unable to do this then i'll lost my job. So please help.

I also searched on internet and prepare a document for the same.. Please have a look and guide or share step by step changes.

You can anchor the Guest SSID from Site B to Site A.

The catch here is that all Guest traffic will tunnel accross the WAN between the sites (It requires that the 2 WLCs can talk to each other with some latency requirements)

Couple good guides here

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-5/Enterprise-Mobility-8-5-Design-Guide/Enterprise_Mobility_8-5_Deployment_Guide/WirelessNetwork_GuestAccessService.html

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/td/docs/wireless/controller/8-5/config-guide/b_cg85/configuring_auto_anchor_mobility.html

Also worth noting that the 2504 WLCs and any APs that they are supporting are EOL and End of Support, you should be planning their replacements if these are supporting a production network
