Troubleshooting Mobility Anchors

I have a setup where we are anchoring to a 5508 from a 2504

The tunnel is up but when the client connects its mobility role is showing as local?

It is like they are not being sent up the tunnel.

The WLAN is created and anchored to the anchor controller.

When the client connects is requesting an IP via the management of the foreign controller and not up the tunnel

What could be causing this?

When a client connects, the device will show up on the foreign controller as local and on the anchor, the device will show up as mobile. If everything is setup right, the anchor WLAN is anchored to itself (local) and the foreign WLAN is anchored to the 5508.  If the mobility is up between the two controllers and the WLAN is configured exactly the same with the exception of the interface and how it's anchored, everything should work. So look at your anchor 5508 for the client. If you see the client there, then everything is configured fine.
