Tunneling a wireless network

I am working on tunneling a wireless network with the following components:

2 AIR-WLC2106-K9
1 AIR-WLC2106-K
11 AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9
10 AIR-LAP1252AG-T-K9

They are geographically distributed on four floors in the same building.

The first big challenge is to set radio channels in order to minimize noise between covered areas.

As this is my first time, can anyone help with a roadmap?

Does anybody know how many clients an AIR-LAP1131AG-A-K9 support ? And an AIR-LAP1252AG-T-K9?

Thanks

Rosa

HI,

Fisrt you need to take a site survey for covered area.

2. Survey will tell you the how many AP you need.

3. there is a featue in WLC called as RRM, it automaticall decide which channle and power level should be on a AP, so you dont need to manually set power or channle on each AP.

4.The model of the AP and the WLC doesn't make a difference.  It all comes to what kind of wireless traffic you are trying to use.

Cisco recommends a rule-of-thumb of 25 clients per AP.

But, say, you are pushing emails and HTML then this number can go as high as 35 clients per AP.  However, if you are using for HD video then the number is about 5 clients to an AP.

Hope it helps.
