Two Mac Addresses for Cisco 1522 AP

Hello friends,

I have few Cisco 1522 Outdoor APs in a Controller based environment.

we want to implement 802.1x (MAB) for these Access Points.

Problem is:

When I type the "show mac address-table interface gx/x/x" command on the switchport where the AP is connected,

it shows two MAC addresses.

===========================================

access-switch#sh mac address int g1/0/23

          Mac Address Table

-------------------------------------------

Vlan    Mac Address       Type        Ports

----    -----------       --------    -----

112    2037.06c6.xxxx    DYNAMIC     Gi1/0/23

112    2037.06c6.yyyy    DYNAMIC     Gi1/0/23

Total Mac Addresses for this criterion: 2

access-switch#

============================================

Is this normal? because all other Indoor APs shows only one MAC addresses.

any suggestions or comments are highly appreciated.

Thanks in Advance.

Siby Thomas

No. i checked that. the second MAC address is unique..

When ever I try to authenticate the AP using 802.1x(MAB), the switchport tries with either of these two MAC addresses.

I don't know if that is normal or not, since I don't have access to a 15xx.  I also didn't thnki that AP's support MAB but if you have other ap's working, then i guess it does.
