Unable to access to network

Hi there,

I am having difficulties to utilize the WIFI facilities in my college using my phone. I was able to connect to the WIFI, however, I could not load any page. I was directed to the following page:

"Cisco Clean Access Java Applet web client could NOT be launched. The reasons for this might include:

• Java Plug-in is not installed in your browser.

• Java Applet is disabled in your browser's security settings.

And you might be able to fix this by

• Download and install Java Plug-in from here.

• Enable Java Applet in your browser's security settings.

If you cannot run the Cisco Clean Access Java Applet web client, you will not be able to access to this network. Please contact the systems administrator."

I have no problem accessing to the network on my laptop with the NAC Agent installed. However, I could not access to the network using my Android phone. I contacted the IT department in my collge and I was told that the WIFI is not working on Android. Is there any solution for my problem?

Betty.

Betty,

I want to say not at this time.  There is some interractoin between NAC/ISE and Mobile Iron, it's not the NAC agent.

The only way to get around this would be for the IT staff to put up an WLAN that was not remediated by the NAC.  But I doubth that's going to happen.

HTH,

Steve
