We have a wired LAN with an Aironet 1100 Access Point so that workstations in the service area are connected wirelessly. One of the wireless workstations has software that needs to be accessed by another workstation on the wired side of the AP. Neither of the two workstations can ping each other. They are in the same IP address block and they can both ping the AP, but they cannot ping each other across the AP. Nothing special configured on the AP, just WEP security. Why can't they see each other across the AP?

It did turn out to be a firewall issue. Both McAfee and Windows firewalls were on. Thanks for your help!
