Upgrade to 802.11g problem with a AP1230

I'm trying to upgrade an Air-AP1230A-A-K9 using the AIR-MP21G-A-K9 upgrade module and the new 802.11g radio will not enable. I have upgraded the software to c1200-K9w7-tar.123-8.JA2, restarted the access point and it still will not start. I have read just about everything in the forums etc. on similar issues but have not seen a solution yet. Does anyone have a solution?

Hi Reggie,

This is a real "shot in the dark" here, but have you set any of the data rates 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, and 54 to enabled.

Thanks for replying, I went back and doubled checked the rates and they are enabled. The radio is still not showing enabled. I also tried switching cards.
