Hi, I am trying to connect to a wireless signal provided by a microwave using a 350 AP. What I am basically trying to do is boost the signal from the microwave using the AP and communicate to the microwave using a 802.11b/g laptop via the same accesspoint. I am not sure if this is possible. The server that feeds the microwave requires a VPN to be connected. I have the ability to connect with the laptop alone, but it is a very weak signal. I am not attempting to do anything immoral or illegal, just increase the signal strenght throughout a research facility which is located approximately 1500 yards from the microwave. I was lead to believe that the Cisco would be a good choice for this, but I cannot get it to communicate. Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks

I appreciate your time ebreniz, however, it only states that the AP can be used in conjunction with another AP. I am trying to use it communicate directly with a microwave. I am not the most savy at this, but I have tried to set it up using the instructions, but it does not work.
