Using Energywise to monitor APs on a Cisco WLC 2500

Hi,

We are currently trialing Energywise on our network. It works fine for monitoring our phones from our Call Manager. We can see all the individual phones and their power usage. We are attempting to see the same information for the APs on the WLC by using SNMP discovery. While Energywise sees the WLC its not showing any of the connected devices. Has anyone experience of using Energywise to monitor APs?.

APs don't support EnergyWise.   It is either ON or OFF.  There's no "sleep" or "hibernate" option.

But I assume from Cisco documentation that we should be able to monitor the power usage of APs. I'd be interested ib hearing from anyone who does this.
