I'm afraid the AIR-PWRINJ3 is pre-802.3af so will not be able to power the AP.

Hi there,

The 1815i datasheet states that is requires a 802.3af/at compliant power source. You will need a AIR-PWRINJ5= or AIR-PWRINJ6= .

https://www.cisco.com/c/en/us/products/collateral/wireless/aironet-1815-series-access-points/datasheet-c78-738243.html

cheers,

Seb.

there is no work around to use the PWRINJ3 with it ?

I'm afraid the AIR-PWRINJ3 is pre-802.3af so will not be able to power the AP.
