OBSERVATION:
A) The configuration we put on the access points contains 3 DNS servers. One ap1200 only showed one DNS server. Web interface was used to add missing 2 DNS servers. CLI showed 1 DNS server after web interface was used to add the 2 missing servers. The 2 servers never showed up in the write term, although all 3 servers now showed up in web interface. Using CLI produced no errors but the servers were not visible in write term. Reloading did not change anything. Two differet admins on different days have tried to put all 3 DNS servers in without success.
B) Another ap1200 would not perform vty login authenication using tacacs, it would authenicate using the local users. Noticed that the
tacacs-server host x.x.x.x ............
was missing. Checked it is in the config script. checked throught the web and it was missing also. Added the tacacs-server line through the CLI. Opened anouther telnet session and the tacacs authen worked. Reloaded ap and tacacs would not work. Checked both CLI and web, both showed the tacacs-server missing. Multiple attempts and 2 admins have not been able to add the tcacs-server and have it stay through a reboot. BTW we did a write mem. we used both CLI and web.
In order to continue the rollout we replaced these 2 ap1200's with others.
Please share your experiences with me. I have no clue as to the cause.
