My question involves sending video, over long distances, to a broadband connection here in the states.
I am traveling to Ireland for a wedding that I will be attending next month. I thought I could somehow transmit the ceremony back to an internet connection, here in the states, real time, so that those who could not attend, would at least be able to watch. It will take place in a very old and small town, so I don’t know, if they have internet access.
What I would like to know is how I would get started, what my possibilities are in this situation, and could it be done for a reasonable cost.
I will have access to a digital camera, and a PC with a wireless network card.
If wireless is not a recommended way to go, I also have a 10/100 NIC card with an RJ45 jack.
