Hi all, My skills are very limited so I am hoping someone can help me with a couple questions. I have a couple 3702 AP's in Autonomous mode. I have the ability to bring up a Cisco virtual Wireless LAN Controller in my lab. I also can update the AP's to Lightweight mode if needed.
1) To use a Cisco wireless controller, do I need Cisco switches that support discovery of the Lightweight AP's?
2) If I don't have Cisco switches at this time, will the Cisco wireless controller manage Autonomous AP's?
Thank you

You will need a Cisco switch to connect these APs and WLC to the network.
2) If I don't have Cisco switches at this time, will the Cisco wireless controller manage Autonomous AP's?
No it manage only lightweight APs.
