vWLC network on esxi distributed switch

I have a vWLC rel 8.1.131 running on esxi 6.5 and connected to a vSwitch as for Cisco best practices.

I need to migrate my virtual network on vDSwitch so I create a vDSwitch with a port group configured as VLAN trunking and VLAN range 1-4094, but the vWLC don't work.

The vDSwitch is connected with a phisical switch (Cisco 4500-x) with all the uplink in trunk mode.

I have not found any documentation about configuring vWLC with vDSwitch.

Hi,

 Is it your vWLC with LAG enable?

Also make sure that vSphere distributed Switch is in mode "Active", I think the default on esxi is passive.
