Want to extend Wlan to over 200Mts

I have a 1231G AP and I would like to extend this LAN over 200-250mts, I know there are a series of antennas, but don't know which one will be the best to get into this range and the other questions is that if this AP will be capable of manage some Wireless devices let say scanners with Windows CE and what will the througput if they are at that distance.

You can extend the coverage using a repeater AP also.
