WCS client report errors

Hello,

I had a problem with WCS report.

Getting Cliente Associates to Wireless system (all controllers, all SSID´s), In the column IP address, I saw some IP´s out of my DHCP scope, however when I opened client details, the client IP address is correct (in my dhcp scope). I match Client MAC address and Client IP address on WLC side, and it was right, too. I guess the problem is only with WCS report.

WCS version 7.0.230

WLC version 7.0.235 (Two controllers 5508)

Any help ?

Looks like a bug to me... If you see it correctly on the WLC then the WCS DB has an issue.... I'm not saying that there is something wrong, I'm just saying that this might be a know issue and you might want to try to find a bug id or maybe open up a TAC case to confirm.  I have seen reports generate different result than what the WLC shows and you just understand what reports work for you and what is useless.

Thanks,

Scott

I opened a TAC, and they sent me a XML file to fix it.

Thanks for your help.

Sounds good!
