i need to know if WCS can coexist with another application on a server.
If it can, wich are the recommendations about it?
Thanks

Hi Eduardo, i recommend you to run WCS as Service on a dedicated Server, without any other Application (Ok, Adobe Reader should not a be Problem), especially other Netweork Management Products. WCS uses some TCP/UDP Ports for Communication, like SNMP, FTP, TFTP, Syslog, https and so on, so you have to keep these ports available. Regards, Michael
PS: in a Lab Environment i have a WCS Server and a VMWare with Cisco ACS on the same Machine, runs perfectly.

Dear Michael ,
Can you tell me what is the RAM in the machine which you use it for (ACS and WCS) and what about CPU ?

Hi, the Machine is a HP DL140 Server with 2GB RAM and 3GHz Processor. Be aware, this is not officially supported and for Lab uses only.
Regards, Michael
