If I'm not mistaken, one WDS AP with its radio interface turned off can handle up to 60 APs, is this correct?
I have a wireless network that consists of 95 APs, all in the same subnet. I've setup two APs dedicated solely for WDS. MY problem is that all the APs register only to one WDS AP. I've played with the priority, setting it to 254 on AP 1 and 255 on AP 2, and also I changed it to 254 on both, both none of these approaches made a difference. Can anybody tell me what I'm doing wrong or point me in the right direction?
Thanks

Correct me if I`m wrong, but I thought that you only could have 1 primary WDS on each subnet.
Does both WDS report as a Primary WDS?
A WDS that have radio turned of supports up to 60 AP.

I think you are correct. It's just that the documentation is a little vague.
If that is the case, then WDS is kind of pointless if you cannot implement it in all of your APs. Of course you could use the WLSM, but that's a little expensive and then again, it only supports 300 APs.

You are exactly correct and I have been looking at this issues as well. I have over 350 AP's on different subnets and each time I configure an AP for auto discovery, it always registers with the primary WDS. I haven't read anything different on this issues.
