Are you able to associate to the access point ?

Can you ping the DHCP server from the AP ?

YEs,i'm able to associate with with my AP but the ip i get is 0.0.0.0.

I'm not able to ping to the dhcp server??

What should the configuration like??

Tks for your assistance.

You should be able to console into the AP and your BVI interface should have an address from the subnet that you have defined in the DHCP server for the clients. For the same reason you should be able to ping the DHCP server from teh console.

Do you have any WEP keys configured ? If yes, have you checked to see if you are WEP keys are configured correct.

Hi tks,

What would be the config like??

in gui you have network interfaces---ethernet--setiings -- see what is there. have u assigned any ip and gateway or is it dhcp enabled. also is your client also dhcp enabled.

one more thing u said u r doing it in home. where is the DHCP server?
