Hello all.

Does Cisco support Wireless Distribution System (WDS)?

From what I have read and understand, Cisco's Wireless Domain Service (also WDS) is a different setting than the one above. Or am I mistaken?

If it's supported, does anyone know where can I look for info on how to configure it to work with other brands (eg. Linksys)? And if it's not supported, is Cisco taking it under consideration?

In Cisco terminology, WDS == Wireless Domain Services. Its an IOS feature that provides advanced services like radio management.

Cisco WDS only works with Cisco APs.

Cisco does not comment on roadmap or product direction/strategy in an open forum like this.
