Hi All,
I am setting up internal web authentication in a WLC. After clients are connected to WLC, they immediately get redirected to http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=219472&clcid=0x409.
I am not sure why clients are redirected to this URL.
Second problem is Chrome will not server sign-in page for any HTTPS URL, however Firefox does. So client who use Chrome as default browser will hit http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkID=219472&clcid=0x409 and then eventually get a page can't be displayed error. I wonder why chrome can't handle https URL for redirect to login page. Client have to give a non-https URL to get the login page from WLC.

I found that HTTP issue can be solved with this command, though it can result in an SSL warning when clients access the page
config network web-auth https-redirect enable
Is there anyway to avoid the initial redirect to Microsoft page when the client connect to WLAN?

I think you need to remove BING from search providers.
