Welch Allyn disconnection issue

Hi Everyone from Cisco Community,

I have some queries on Welch Allyn troubleshooting.

The device connected to network via Cisco AP using 802.11a and it shows "Communication error with host. 1a0000" 

As I am a newbie in Wireless & Mobility, was wondering if anyone with experience to share wireless troubleshooting steps to perform with me?

Hello,

• can you provide more detail on the network infrastructure?
• what AP model you are using?
• is this a controller-based deployment / autonomous AP / Mobility Express? 
• what type of WLAN are you using open/ PSK / 802.1x?
• is this problem happening on new association/ roaming? 

It is hard to tell where you. need to start if no detail on what cisco solution you are using.

According to the Connex Spot Monitor Directions manual, it states "Communications timeout failure with external host" and "Verify the external host services are loaded and started on the server.  If the problem persists, check for available software upgrades of the monitor or the system."

Judging from the wording, this is not a wireless issue.
