I've got a wes610n Cisco/Linksys that I'm trying to connect to our wireless network to use as a network adapter. I was able to get it connected to the network with a static address to the wireless, but I cannot ping it. On the wlc it shows connected and in RUN status but will not ping in or out. The ssid is using just a WPA2/PSK password and it matches on both the wlc and the wireless client. I've run a debug client (mac) on the wlc and it keeps giving this message:
*apfMsConnTask_2: May 31 07:59:49.529: Stats update: Non Zero value
I've looked throughout Cisco documentation and cannot find it. I'm running 7.4.100.0 on the wlc with a 3602i AP.
Solved! Go to Solution.

Here is something I have found
http://www.cisco.com/en/US/products/ps6366/products_qanda_item09186a00808b4c61.shtml
A. No, the WLC supports only Cisco WGB products. Linksys WGBs are not supported. Although the Cisco Wireless Unified Solution does not support the Linksys WET54G and WET11B Ethernet Bridges, you can use these devices in a Wireless Unified Solution configuration if you use these guidelines:
- Connect only one device to the WET54G or WET11B.
- Enable the MAC cloning feature on the WET54G or WET11B to clone the connected device.
- Install the newest drivers and firmware on devices connected to the WET54G or WET11B. This guideline is especially important for JetDirect Printers because earlier firmware versions cause problems with DHCP.
Note: Other third-party bridges are not supported. The steps mentioned can also be tried for other third-party bridges.
Thanks,
Scott

I do have a Buffalo WLI-TX4-AG300N on my wireless, but it has to be rebooted once a week or so. I had to enable passive client on the WLAN advanced tab.
Thanks,
Scott

WPA (SSN IE)............................... Enabled
TKIP Cipher............................. Enabled

You need to either use WPA/TKIP or WPA2/AES.... try WPA/TKIP first then try WPA2/AES.
Also enable passive client

That worked....Thanks for all your help

So now what you can do is use WPA2/AES, since you know that WPA/TKIP works

WPA (SSN IE)...............................Disabled
TKIP Cipher.............................Disabled
AES Cipher.............................. Disabled
WPA2 (RSN IE).............................. Enabled
