Hello,
This may be easy to many of you, so I hope to gleen some of your expertise. I have two buildings 400ft apart. I have an access point (1200) and a yagi antenna pointing from one building to the other. What device will I use in the receiving building where I want to plug an Allen-Bradley hub into. In other words a standard PCI or cardbus adapter will not work, because I need to plug the hub into the network that is being beamed via the AP. Another way of saying it is building A has an Allen-Bradley PLC server that administers serveral AB devices with an AB Protocol. I need to attach a few more AB devices to that PLC in building B. Wireless would be the only solution. I will connect (CAT5) the AB PLC to a 1200 AP and use a Yagi directional antenna to beam to building B. What do I use in building B to plug the AB devices in (CAT5) to connect to the PLC's LAN? Any advise would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
carsen
