i have installed cisco air-pi21-ag card in my pc there is dlink DWL-G700AP > High Speed 2.4GHz (802.11g) Wireless Access Point is there in just 3 rooms(appro-20m) away from my room in hostel there are five 9 inch walls, but i am not able to detect network
i hve tested my pci card in my friends pc
there it is showing network his room is approx. 15m away from access point and works fine.also i tested the signal in my room by intalling tp link usb wife tl-wn321g adapter it showing network with speed of 28mbps with signal strenght good,
now i am not able to understand how to sort out the problem ; should i cut the anteena wire which is provided with card and extend it by joing some cable else that what should i do plz tell me.
