Hi,
I have been browsing internet and although I was able to find a lot of datasheets & specifics, I was not able to find all I was looking for.
Does anyone know the range (either in feet or meters) of the AIR-LAP1142N-E-K9?
(I will be assuming that any concrete walls/floors will reduce the range)
Thanks
Kind regards,
Marijke

The answer to this question depends on many factors, which include these:
In an optimal installation, the range can be up to 300 feet.

The 1142 doesn't have any external antennas not does it have antenna cables. So as far as distance or better yet coverage, a site survey can only tell you. Walls, windows, materials all have affect on propagation. ALS your requirement as far as minimum required signal and or snr also is a factor on how far the signal is usable per your requirement.

I second Scott's post. If you are sitting in the middle of a wide-open field and you have enabled all data rates, you should be able to get 802.11b to about 40 metres in a single direction (not radius).
Be aware that the only way to be certain is to get a wireless site survey.
