WIFI ACCESS ISSUES

Subject: Intermittent SSID Connectivity Issues – Cisco C9130AXI-E APs

We are currently experiencing an issue where some users are unable to connect to the SSID, while others who are already connected are being intermittently disconnected.

The environment is running Cisco C9130AXI-E Access Points with the Cisco Embedded Wireless Controller on Catalyst Access Points, software version 17.12.7a.

Could this issue be related to the access point software version? Has version 17.12.7a been associated with any known wireless connectivity, authentication, roaming, or client disconnection issues that could explain this behavior?

Any guidance or recommendations would be appreciated.

using the CLI command show tech wireless and feed the output
                                                                  from that into WCAE

                                             - Upgrade the latest advisory software version :
                                                    https://software.cisco.com/download/home/286323998/type/286323077/release/17.15.6

                                             - Consider  abandoning the EWC based solution because it it EOL:
You can deploy the 9800-CL virtual controller with up to 50 access points
                                                for free!
