WiFi redundancy

I am creating a small wifi mesh network. what steps can be done to insure the network stays up even if the parent (wired) AP fails? How can I make this "master" AP redundant? Since this is the only one that is wired to the LAN if it fails then the mesh fails.

You can always have another RAP on the opposite end onf your small mesh, so when the primary RAP fails, the MAP's can join the other RAP.
