will enabling flexconnect on WLAN SSID page disconnect current clients?

I have a WLAN SSID that currently does not have flexconnect enabled.  I am preparing to deploy some APs at a remote site and will use local switching there to save WAN bandwidth.  If I enable flexconnect on the WLAN and not the APs, will clients currently connected to the SSID be disconnected?

Hi

When you modify any WLAN settings momentarily clients get disrupted (in CLI you have to shut the WLAN first before modify any settings. In GUI when you do config changes on WLAN same thing happen in background)

That WLAN settings (FlexConnect Local Switching) applicable to "FlexConnect mode AP". So unless you change branch AP to that mode & properly configured vlan mapping there is no effect on that feature.
