Windows 7 Roaming

We have deployed two 5508 with code 7.0.235 and 1142 access points.  All clients in that area are either Wyse  thin Win 7Devices running Citrix session or Dell W7 devices. We are having roaming problem even in L2. Coverage is great with target -67 dBm.

W7 devices connects to one AP and stay connected to it uless it drops below -80. All roaming settings in card  have been tested from Agressive to low.

In the same environment Windows XP devices and Voip phones work great without any problem.

We tested Win7 devices at several locations with variety of Cisco hardware and code versions with same results. Anybody has any idea or faced same kind of problem.

So far several NIC cards have been tested from Intel to Broadcom with up to date drivers.

Upgrade to either 7.0.240.0 or 7.4.100.0 and test again.

Try upgrading the cards firmware also. That usually helps.
