Hi. Can someone explain, what does the RF profile "none" mean and what happens when you set the RF profile of an AP group to none?
I'm logged into a controller where the AP group has RF profile set to none but the APs part of that group are still broadcasting and have clients connected. I can't understand what is the purpose of not using a RF profile.
Thanks

- It's a bit the reverse ; you will use an RF profile to tune the wireless environment. Using None means that you are happy 'as is'

With no RF profile assigned to an AP group, you are inheriting global RF parameters.
Global RF parameters change will also be applied to all AP groups configured with "non" RF profile.
In an ideal situation, you should be configuring a separate RF profile for each floor or a building as RF requirements for each type of deployment will be different and you want to have a flexibility to control these parameters per floor/site rather than rolling out a single change to every site.
