Wireless / 3600 AP in autonomous mode

I just got a 3600 AP, but I am not sure what image or configuration it has or even what I need to do to add it to my network. I would like to know what I need to do in order to run this AP in autonomous mode and added to my network.

if I need to configure it, let me know if I would need a special cable to plug it to my computer, an emulator, etc. ??

If you send me a documentations on how it would be done!, that is highly appreciated.

Thanks,

You do need to have a Cisco serial cable and USB to serial adapter.

Here are some that work well:

https://www.get-console.com/shop/en/18-usb-to-serial-cables

https://www.amazon.com/Asunflower®-Cisco-Console-Cable-Windows/dp/B00RHDXDWA

You will need to have this to understand what image is on the AP and if the AP needs to be converted.  Just search for lightweight to autonomous conversion and you will find links and videos on how to do this.  You would also need to be able to download the image which requires a support contract.
