Wireless AP Upgrade issues

Currently in the process of upgrading 42 APs to run IOS Version 12.3(7)JA2 from Version 12.2(13)JA4. I'm performing the upgrade through WLSE running vers 2.13

I've encountered an issue which I believe may be related to some of the APs having "Virtual-Dot11Radio0/1" interfaces, when I perform a 'sh ip int brief'. All the APs I've upgraded so far have both A & G Antennae, as have the APs that have failed the upgrade process. Those that have upgraded successfully do not have the virtual interfaces as mentioned above. All our APs are AIR-AP1231G-E-K9.

All the Virtual interfaces are shown as down/down, I'm unable to manual shut them down or remove them

Below is the job run log from the WLSE - AP07 was upgraded succesfully, 06 and 08 failed. Of the failures it mentions, I'm confident 1 is not a cause due to the IOS file name not changing during the course of the upgrade, No 2 is not as all the APs are identical, also, all the devices have identical flash memory.

10:03:55 03/21/2006 Device: trhap06 reported : Unknown Failure. This could occur because of any of the following:

(1) If remote TFTP server option is used, and the image filename does not match the filename on the TFTP server.

(2) If the selected image and the selected devices are of different device types (For e.g., if an image of AP1100 and devices of type BR1300 are chosen).

(3) If the Flash free memory is not sufficient to copy the new image.

May be the problem of blocking the TFTP port through Firewall or the router's Access control list. This is the common issue that occurs during upgrade.
