Wireless bridge does not work with Workgroup bridge

Hi all,

We have 1 workgroup bridge which is not comunicating with any of other 2 Wireless bridges.Wireless bridges cominicate with each other and also with other vendor devices.ESSID is same of both.It shows no wireless activity at all.I upgraded firmware even.

I Radio is shows:

Carier=US_Can which i can't change.

Parent=Reason 19 (sometimes no response)sometimes

carier problem

Will anybody help me pls.

Maybe radio is bad. Hardware issue?

Is this a point-to-multipoint setup?

You mention other vendor devices - bridges tend to use proprietry extentions to 802.11b - different brands (vendors) may not work together in bridge mode.

Workgroup bridges talk to APs, not Bridges. The naming is confusing.

You may be able to set the bridge you want the WGB to talk with to "Remote with clients". I haven't tried it, but that should make the bridge act as both a bridge and an AP.
