why connection drops for clients moving one controller to another controller in the geographical location ?

If clients connect to two different APs managed by different controller (not part of the same mobility group), you will see client connection drops  when they move from AP1 to AP2

In my case , they are the part of  same mobility group and I observe connection drops .

Do you have overlapping coverage ?

Is it possible to get "debug client <mac_address>" output from both your WLC while this issue is happening ? Attach it to next response if you are able to get that
