Cisco Wireless Controller Model AIR-CTVM-K9 running the software version 8.2.166.0 working on esxi 5.5. We have plan upgrade vmware esxi 8.0. I'm consider that the vWLC compatibility with ESXI 8.0 or not ?

You may want to consider moving to the 9800 virtual controller platform which is free for download , however APs must be licensed ,

Currently we are using AIR-CTVM-K9 for production system so we need consider about upgrade esxi from 5.5 to 8.0.
Could you please share the doccument guide for this case.

its been end of life since early 2021, best is to upgrade it to C9800-CL-K9, talk to your Cisco account manager, you will need to reconsider your license and AP models as well, you are way behind actually. C9800-CL-K9 is supported on latest ESXi hypervisor.
