wireless for warehouse

dears, there is a huge warehouse, the customer needs to covered voice and data, my question is how to covered it while the ceilling of the warehouse is 20 m, and the racks (roofs) are apporx. 15 M. the racks are too long. if i select omni i think is not good. the recommended hieght of omni is 6 M.

please your advice, may be i have to choose yagi

Best thing to do is do a site survey and see how the omni's cover and it try using a patch antenna either on the wall or pointing down from the ceiling. Either way, you will need to determine where you can mount and cable the access point before you can determine what antenna to use.

hi Scott Fella,

the aisle between racks is too long and the height of rack may be more than 15 M. FYI the warehouse is under construction, so I'll do it via Airmagnet planner.

I've the sketches of that warehouse, i think yagi and patch antenna will be supported.

omni directional i think is not supported as i know the recommendation from cisco "the height of access point MAX 6M". 

I am confused :(
