Wireless LAN Controller Newbie Question

Hello Cisco,

Currently we have two remote offices using MAC filtering for wireles devices to join the wireless network.  Site A is using a Cisco 4402 WLC, and Site B is using a Cisco 4404 WLC.   What is the best way to enable/share MAC address filtering between each sites?

So that a MAC address of a user from Site A, will continue to have wireless access when they visit Site B (without having to manually add their MAC address to Site B's WLC MAC filtering)?

Is this where a RADIUS server comes into play?  Thank you for any info you can offer.

Best Regards,

Mr.DvD

The best way to "centralize" your MAC filtering is doing it centrally.  In your case, the DHCP server would be the best bet.

If the MAC address in not found in the DHCP DB then the client won't be able to get an IP address.
