I am looking to design a hotel wireless solution that offers different premiums of wireless service, 1 service being free limited wifi for a set amount of time i.e. 1hr the other being a premium faster wifi that is paid for service.
I am considering using 2 different SSID's or possibly a single SSID and forcing users to redirect to a webpage that will handle the signup or payment of premium wifi.
in terms of a Cisco hardware, will a 5508 WLC do the job? Or will this require a Cisco ISE server? Or will this need to be some kind of 3rd party software?
If anyone has implemented something similar before any comments/ advice would be much appreciated.
Thanks for your input here, im certanly a fan of the Meraki wireless products, certainly a lot easer and quicker solution to configure. Whilst I am pushing for a Meraki wireless solution I believe the customer has opted for the Cisco WLC + Aironet WAP solution.
