Wireless Setup using CAP3602i and a 2106 Controller

I am currently in the process of upgrading my certifications and need to setup a WAP and Controller. I currently have a CAP3602i and am looking at a used 2106 Controller at a great price to study with until I can get my hands on a 2500 Controller. Can someone tell me if the 3602 will work with the 2106 Controller to practice with?

Not possible.  

The last firmware support for the 2100 is 7.0.X while the FIRST firmware support for the 3600 is 7.1.91.X.
