Wireless traffic configs

Hello,

I deployed unified wireless network and access points in local and flex connect mode. I noticed that wireless users are getting IP addresses from HQ where the WLC resides.

What can I do to make wireless users get IP address from their branch network.

Regards,

Ethelbert

In your WLAN config, did you enable it for FlexConnect operation? And did you map the VLAN to the WLAN in the FlexConnect AP config?

Hello Steve,

Thanks for your response.

Answers to your question below are highlighted in blue;

In your WLAN config, did you enable it for FlexConnect operation? YES -access point meant to be installed at remote location have been changed from local mode to flexconnect mode. And did you map the VLAN to the WLAN in the FlexConnect AP config? We have just one WLAN (SSID) configured for all wireless client that are both at central site and remote site.

Flexconnect Mode Client are getting IP Address From Central DHCP Server.

What we want is for client to get IP address from remote DHCP server where the AP in flexconnect mode is located.

Please, support.

Ethelbert
