Is it possible on WiSM to have additional subnet to an existing SSID, I am asking this for a co-worker.

yes, its called AP groups. Whereby you have 1 SSID but mapped to different logical subnets to breakup the broadcast domain ... Does that anwser your question?

Keep in mind in 7.x M1 release cisco will have available "round robin" interfaces... Whereby you have say 2 wired side interfaces and then map it to a WLAN. As clients connect they round robin each subnet ...

if you have a large deployment and dont want to litter your distros and WLCs with interfaces its
a good idea to wait for the new feature...
