WLC 2500 series with Cisco AIR-SAP1602I-C-K9

Hello all..

my name is Oji, and I would like to ask something about wlc and ap...

I have WLC 2500 series and I would like to join WLC 2500 series with Cisco Access Point AIR-SAP1602I-C-K9 (with IOS inside).

is that possible?

because as far as I know, AP that want  to join to WLC, must don't have an IOS inside..

As long as your WLC is running a minimum of 7.4.100.X firmware.  

Can you also post the output to the WLC command of "sh sysinfo"?

Paste the output of these commands:

sh sysinfo from WLC

sh version from AP

Make sue that your WLC must have atleast 7.4.100.0 version (Will recommand to use 7.4.121.0- this is the stable version)

I'm trying to add this Access point to Controller

AP - AIR-SAP1602E-E-K9 - LWAPP image version 7.6.100.0

Cisco WLC 2500  
Product Version.................................. 8.2.100.0
Bootloader Version............................... 1.0.20
Field Recovery Image Version..................... 7.6.101.1
Firmware Version................................. PIC 20.0

But getting the error ,
