Hi there,
have a WLC 2504 here with 7 AP's (1262, 1142, 2602) and 5 OEAP 600 AP's.
(2504_wlc 1140_ap 1260_ap 600_ap 600_oeap)
Now, the issue that I have is, if the controller is up for some hours, some of the OEAP 600 AP's won't join (re-join) them.
The AP's disassociated from the controller and that's it.
I had this last year in december for about 2 weeks, and then the issue was solved. Now, after 5 month, i get this issue again. Exactly the same situation.
I can reset the OEAP, the DialUp Router at the external location, but the AP won't join again.
Now, if this happen, I only have to reboot the WLC 2504 and directly after reboot all AP's (internal or external) joined the WLC.
I think that this happened after the DSL Reconnect (DSL Providers does on automatic reconnect after 24h)
The WLC is connected with a static IP to the www.
Primary SW version 7.3.101.0
I think, there could not be an issue on the firewall, switches or something else, because at any time I reboot the wlc all AP join the WLC.
Appreciate all help!
Regards,
Joerg

You might want to upgrade to 7.3.112.0, if a reboot is the only fix.
Thanks,
Scott

A few days after the post, the wlc has decided to do his work. that's the same situation since a few month before. the wlc works perfect and since last week, got the same issue again. So i decided to upgrade to 7.3.112.0 and - the same issue again.
Maybe i have this strange failure the next 8-10 days, and then, it's gone again for the next 2-3 month. Here are the state i had today in the morning, as i see the oeap 600 blinking orange... logged in the CLI at the WLC 2504, see that only 1 oeap is available... ARFF... system reset, save, wait, login again, and... all oeap there...

Please make sure the AP's are supported in that new code. 1100's and 1200's are no longer supported past v7.0.x
